We are Dan and Rebecca, and we started Eighty3 way back in 1999. Young(er) and idealistic, we had a keen desire to bring fresh new ideas and solutions to the ever-changing world of design. Web design was a relatively new industry back then, so we wanted to bring a holistic approach to branding and enable our clients to get the most out of their websites using systems and automation.
Over the years, we’ve had the chance to work with some fantastic people and businesses, from huge multi-nationals and famous brands to sole traders and start-ups (we’ve all gotta start somewhere!).
In 2018, we solidified our ideals and moved into new premises — an old industrial steel building in the heart of the Black Country. It may no longer be a steelworks, but we like to think we can match the heat and hard work the building is used to! And we are pretty pleased to be supporting the industrial heritage of the area too.
After all of our experiences, we still have a genuine passion for design, and our mission hasn’t changed: we want to add value. Not just to our customers’ business, brand, or website, but to their lives. We’d all be happier if work was easier; that’s why we want to know and understand our clients and their needs — so we can succeed together.
We may be deft designers, marketing magicians and mad as a box of frogs, but we love our jobs. We’re a close-knit bunch that believes work shouldn’t be boring. We like to have fun, but we’re professionals too, and we get the job done. Scroll down to meet the team…
Director/Development Manager
Rebecca oversees all aspects of web development that goes on at Eighty3 and is our go-to brain for any technical issue that needs to be solved. She can link up your third-party provider, help you to integrate your social media or create a custom system to collect all the data from your amazing custom Landing Page.
She drinks far too much tea and often forgets to turn the radio on when she comes in on a morning.
Describe what you do in no more than five words?
Write words to make pictures.

Beer! More specifically, real ales, even more specifically Enville Ale.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?

Director/Design Manager
Dan is usually the first port-of-call when anyone contacts Eighty3. The friendly-gentle giant is passionate about finding the correct creative solution to a client's problems, making sure he really gets to the bottom of what makes their project tick. He has a wealth of experience in branding and design, working in many areas of the design industry before making Eighty3 his home.
Dan can't leave any of the office sweet treats alone and can easily be swayed by a nice packet of biccys.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
No one cared who I was before I put on the beard.
If you were reincarnated as an animal, what would it be and why?
I would be a badger - because you don't mess with a badger.

Designer
Emily brings an exciting new perspective to Eighty3. With a keen eye for colour and detail, she produces stunning brand identities for a range of projects. Her video skills are top-notch, producing amazing motion graphics for multiple platforms.
She is far too smiley and indulges the oldies in the office with all of their silliness.

With a passion for rock music and a knack for innovative design, Elijah is ready to take our projects to the next level.
