Location: London, United Kingdom
We were approached by the team at The Good Guru to undertaken the migration and redesign of their existing store. We met the team at their London office to find out about their requirements. Their current store provider just wasn’t hitting the mark. They wanted a scalability and support so after a long discussion about the various platforms on the market, we settled on creating a BigCommerce store.
The team chose BigCommerce because of it's connectivity to a lot of the apps and services they already used. They had specific accounting and logistic services that they already used and trusted. Finding a platform that would support these needs, whilst still offering the level of support and service they required was the main deciding factor. They chose to move forwards with a BigCommerce store as apposed to one of it's competitors.
Throughout the process, The Good Guru team were keen to ensure their store gave the best possible user experience. The majority of their product sales converted from mobile devices. We discussed options to quickly add products to cart as well as increasing button hit areas to limit user frustration. These were implemented at the design stage to streamline the build process.
We created a custom stencil template within BigCommerce to give the client full flexibility. As a company we don't use templates, resulting in each client having a truly custom store design, allowing us to meet their individual needs.
As the team had never used the platform before we were on hand to provide ongoing support and training. Being on the other end of the phone when the team needed an answer was something that they had previously not had This allowed them to solve problems and add new features quickly. Letting them get back to running their business in no time at all.
The team uploaded their product inventory and we supported the addition of a new subscribe and save feature. This would ensure an improvement in their return custom rate and revenue income. It also provided customers with the peace of mind that they wouldn't run out of their favourite supplement or product should they forget to reorder.
