A Fresh Space, A Fresh Face: The Rebrand Behind Claire Eve Pilates Studio
Pilates Studio Branding For Claire Eve
Claire is an experienced Pilates practitioner with an already successful studio behind her. When the opportunity came up to rent a brand new space, it wasn’t just a change of address. It was the perfect moment to rethink Claire Eve as a brand and give her growing business an identity as considered as the practice itself.
That move shaped the brief. Rather than a simple refresh, Eighty3 was asked to build a full Pilates studio branding system, including a mark, colour palette, typography and supporting pattern, before the new space was even fitted out. The idea was to flip the usual order of things: instead of designing a brand around existing walls and furnishings, the colours and fonts we created would guide the studio’s fit-out, so the physical space and the brand would feel like one and the same from the day it opened.

Our Approach To Pilates Studio Branding For Claire Eve
Every strand of this Pilates studio branding project grew from a single mark: a four-petal clover, built from soft, rounded forms that echo the fluid, controlled movement of Pilates itself. Because the new studio was still being fitted out, we had a rare opportunity: rather than designing a brand to match existing surroundings, we could let the brand lead, with every material and colour decision in the space following directly from the identity we created.
For the palette, we moved away from the bright, high-energy colours common in fitness branding and chose a quieter pairing instead: a deep charcoal and a soft blush pink, tones that needed to work as well painted across a studio wall as they did on a business card. This restraint runs through every piece of Pilates studio branding we produced, from the pared-back wordmark, a graceful serif for “Claire Eve” paired with a widely tracked sans-serif for “Pilates Studio”, to the repeating clover pattern we built to sit behind the logo on darker applications.
That pattern became one of the hardest-working parts of the identity, appearing everywhere from foil-blocked business cards to the branded lanyards Claire’s clients now wear in studio. Because this Pilates studio branding was created ahead of the fit-out, Claire has been able to carry the same colours, fonts and pattern straight through into the new space itself, so from the moment clients walk through the door, the studio feels every bit as considered as the brand now representing it.
