Bostin Business: Eighty3 Celebrates Black Country Success

The Black Country Chamber of Commerce gathered fifty local organisations at Molineux Stadium to mark the finale of their campaign and celebrate the region’s top talent. Having officially earned our title last year, we headed down to Wolverhampton to pick up our plaque and raise a glass alongside local manufacturers, charities, tech pioneers, and fellow creatives.

The Black Country has a legendary habit of creating world-class things, usually followed by an equally legendary refusal to make a fuss about it. Getting fifty ambitious businesses under one roof was a welcome reminder that our region has plenty to shout about.

Having a physical award for the wall is a lovely bonus, but the real reward was sharing a room with people who care just as deeply about the area as we do. It proved once again that world-class industry is alive and kicking right here on our doorstep.

We left Molineux feeling thoroughly inspired and ready for what comes next. The Chamber’s formal campaign might be drawing to a close, but the energy inside the stadium made it clear that Black Country business is in great shape.
