Carl needed a brand identity and platform that could bridge the gap between his passion for darts and the professional world of sports analytics. The logo had to capture the excitement of the sport while remaining bold and versatile enough to be used across various mediums. On the web development side, the challenge was creating a system capable of handling complex, fast-paced data entry, even live during matches, while ensuring the platform was visually engaging and user-friendly for darts fans and professionals alike.

The site also needed to maintain accessibility for casual users without compromising the depth of information available for dedicated fans or broadcasters like ITV and Sporting Life. Balancing detailed functionality with streamlined simplicity was essential to meet these demands.

Our Approach:

We began with the logo, drawing inspiration from the vibrant and approachable design of the ‘Football Manager’ games. The logo creatively incorporates a dart flight at the centre of the ‘D’ and uses the dart’s stem and point to form the letters ‘a’ and ‘r’, resulting in a brand mark that is dynamic and memorable.

The web development phase became the core of the project. To bring Carl’s vision to life, we crafted a system allowing him to seamlessly input complex data, even live during events, while presenting this information to users in a clear and visually engaging way. The website’s design echoes the ‘Football Manager’ style, with bold, vibrant colours and an intuitive layout. Large, clickable boxes guide users efficiently, ensuring they can access in-depth darts stats and insights with minimal effort.
