Leoclad Supplies

Product Photography That Turns Industrial Components into Commercial Assets

Leoclad Supplies is a new roofing and cladding supply business founded by Tom Sinar, serving construction professionals across the UK with a comprehensive range of high-performance materials. From panels and insulation through to fixings, tapes and sealants, Leoclad’s product catalogue covers everything a contractor needs to complete a build properly.

Eighty3 have been with Tom from the very beginning. We developed the Leoclad brand identity and built the website, so when it came time to bring the product range to life visually, it was a natural next step for us to take on the photography too.

The Challenge:

Launching a new business in a competitive, trade-focused industry means every touchpoint has to work hard. For a product-led company like Leoclad, photography isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s fundamental to how the business presents itself to potential customers.

Tom was starting from scratch. No existing imagery, no visual library to draw from. He needed a complete set of product photography that would serve across his website, a new brochure currently in development, and future social media activity. The products themselves, screws, fixings, drill bits, hook bolts, screw caps, sockets and hex head colour caps, are small, precise components. Not the most obvious subject matter for striking imagery, but that was exactly the challenge worth solving.

Our Approach:

Emily led the shoot entirely at our studio in Brierley Hill. The creative direction centred on a clean, high-brightness approach: components photographed against a white void, giving the images a sharp, clinical quality that works perfectly for product cut-outs and looks genuinely professional in both print and digital contexts.

Every product was photographed from consistent angles throughout, ensuring a cohesive visual language across the entire catalogue. Individual shots captured the detail and quality of each component, while carefully arranged group shots brought related products together to add variety and visual interest, particularly useful for brochure layouts and web pages where a single product image would feel flat.

The result was a library of over 150 images, delivered in a format ready for immediate use across all of Tom’s channels.

Client testimonial:

“You have captured what is often perceived as what may be an ‘ugly industry’ into something worth looking at.”

Leoclad Supplies

There’s a school of thought that says some products just aren’t photogenic. Screws, fixings, drill bits; components that do a job, not things you’d normally stop and admire. We’d push back on that.

Good product photography is less about the subject matter and more about understanding what the images need to do. For Tom, they needed to look professional, feel consistent, and work across a brochure, a website and social media without adaptation. A bright, clean studio approach gave us exactly that, and it gave Leoclad a visual standard that’s genuinely competitive from the moment the business launches.

It’s also a reminder of why authentic photography matters. These are real products that real contractors will be ordering. Showing them clearly, at their best, builds a confidence in the brand that no stock image ever could.
