A professional dog grooming logo design was top of the list when Stacey and Beth – two award-winning groomers – decided to combine their talents and create something special with Plush Pets. After successful individual careers, they joined forces to bring their shared vision of high-end dog and cat grooming to life. Stacey was already familiar with our creative approach, having worked with us (and particularly with Dan) on her Canine Beautician logo. When it came time to develop the perfect branding for their new joint venture, she knew exactly who to call!
The Challenge:
Let’s face it – the dog grooming world has become incredibly crowded lately! For Stacey and Beth, simply hanging up a sign wouldn’t be enough to make Plush Pets shine. They needed branding that would instantly communicate their premium service and make potential customers stop in their tracks. Their professional dog grooming logo needed to say “luxury” while still feeling warm and welcoming – not an easy balance to strike!
With plans to open their dream salon just around the corner, they also needed a versatile design that would look fabulous everywhere – from their storefront and vehicles to appointment cards and Instagram posts. The real challenge? Creating something that would catch the eye of pet parents who are happy to invest a bit more for top-notch grooming services for their furry family members.
Our Approach:
We kicked things off with some really enjoyable brainstorming sessions where we chatted about styles that Stacey and Beth loved. They were drawn to a charming doodle-inspired look that would perfectly complement the gorgeous wallpaper they’d chosen for their salon. Picking the right dog breed for their professional dog grooming logo turned into quite the conversation – they didn’t want to give the impression they specialised in just one breed. In the end, we all agreed on a poodle, which not only screams “skilled grooming required here!” but also showcases what Stacey and Beth do best – precision cutting and styling that turns heads.
We made sure to pop a cute cat into the design too – after all, Plush Pets welcomes feline friends as well as canine companions! The colour selection was a particularly fun part of our journey together. We played with several palettes before landing on vibrant, fresh tones that help their professional dog grooming logo pop against competitors while still feeling premium and polished. Throughout every step, we kept Stacey and Beth in the loop, making sure the emerging brand felt true to their personalities and business dreams.
