Our Approach to Personal Branding Design for Huw Davies

Our personal branding design process began with extensive research into Huw’s existing content and audience engagement patterns. We developed a colour palette centred around orange – a deliberate choice that echoed Huw’s distinctive beard colour whilst also being an excellent colour for trust, enthusiasm, and approachability in financial communications. The typography choices were equally strategic: we created hand-drawn lettering for his logo which was then digitised to give it a more tangible, personal feel that perfectly reinforced the ‘fun’ aspect of his brand. Every element of the personal branding design was crafted to support his mission of making finance accessible and enjoyable.

The logo design process focused on creating a mark that captured Huw’s personality whilst being versatile enough to work across all platforms. We developed an ingenious icon that takes the ‘U’ from Huw’s name and incorporates his trademark glasses and beard – instantly recognisable elements that make the brand uniquely his.
