Roller banner design for Woodsetton Litter Pickers

Woodsetton Litter Pickers are a volunteer community group based near Dudley who dedicate their time to keeping their local area clean. Operating through their Facebook page, they coordinate regular litter-picking events across streets, roads and green spaces, bringing together local residents who want to make a difference in their neighbourhood. In July 2025, they became a formally constituted group, opening doors to funding opportunities that will help them expand their impact.

The group approached us needing professional roller banner design and promotional leaflets to help grow their volunteer base and raise awareness of their work at community events. With plans to reach more residents and achieve greater impact, they needed materials that would showcase their efforts and inspire others to get involved.

Our approach to roller banner design for community groups

We worked with Woodsetton Litter Pickers’ existing brand identity, incorporating their logo and colour palette to maintain consistency across their promotional materials. The roller banner design prominently featured photographs the group had taken of their volunteers in action, showing the real people and tangible results of their community work.

For the roller banner design and accompanying leaflets, we focused on creating eye-catching layouts that would stop people at community events and communicate the group’s purpose instantly. The design needed to feel approachable and welcoming whilst looking professional enough to reflect their newly constituted status.

The finished materials balance professionalism with community spirit, giving Woodsetton Litter Pickers the tools they need to recruit new volunteers and celebrate the work they’re already doing. After our quality control checks, the roller banner and leaflets were delivered ready for use at local events.
